Dieses Stück, voller Ideen, amüsanter Wortspiele und zahlreicher Pointen
(in Bezug auf Österreich) weihte am Mittwoch zu späterer Stunde das
Theaterzelt ein. Der Aufbau in Form einer Zeitreise á la „Zurück in
die Zukunft“ (Film) war auch für nicht deutschsprachiges Publikum
leicht nachzuvollziehen. Aufgelockert durch allseits bekannte Songs&
Musikstücke wurde die schrill/ schräge Darstellung vom Publikum sehr gut
aufgenommen. Die Gruppe macht vor nichts halt und zeigt keine falsche
Scham in Hinsicht auf Text- und Themenzusammenstellung,
Kindheitserfahrungen (TipTop), aktuelle Politik (Bezug auf Bush) und
Alltagskultur (McDonalds) werden ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste durchaus
unterhaltsam aufgeführt. Sie zeigen mit vollem Einsatz ihre individuelle
Interpretation des Pop-Business. Diese ironische Persiflage ist allerdings
möglicherweise nicht jedermanns Sache, da alles auf
Hintergrundinformationen aufbaut, kann es vielleicht nicht von jeder
Generation nachvollzogen werden. Youth

“Journey
to the past” The play, full of ideas, amusing word play and very witty (concerning
Austria) inaugurated our theatre tent on Wednesday at a late hour. The
structure of a “time journey” á la “Back to the future” (film)
was easy to understand even for people without knowlegde of German. The
performance was lived up with well known songs and different pieces of
music. This bold and shrill representation was appreciated by the audience.
In their treatment of text and topics, the group took no prisoners:
childhood impressions (TipTop), actual themes& politics (Bush) and
everyday culture (advertisements) were performed very entertainingly. They
were committed to their own interpretation of pop-business. Integrating a
lot of background information this ironical satire maybe wasn`t
understandable for every generation. |
