Ein voller Erfolg waren die zwei Jazz-Frühschoppen
in der Vorweihnachtszeit im Sigl´s Braukeller in Obertrum. Swing und
Dixieland-Hits von Jazzgrößen wie Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald oder
Duke Ellington waren zu hören. New Orleans meets Bavaria war das Motto der
Traunsteiner Band „Oiweiumhoiweeife“ (...immer um halb elf). Zur Liebe
zu Jazz-Hits aus der ersten Hälfte unseres Jahrhunderts gesellt sich eine
vitale Spielfreude, die Raum schafft für spontane Einfälle oder Ausflüge
in gänzlich andere Musikrichtungen. Dabei werden Wurzeln aus der
bayrisch-blasmusikalischen Vergangenheit nicht verleugnet. Besetzung:
Hermann Posselt, voc, b; Karl Sareiter, basstb, tuba; Michael Weigl, cl,
ts; Christoph Weigl, tp, kornett, horn; Hardy Sauer, g; Michael Honzak, dr;
guest: Adi Jüstel, p. Die „Salty Dixie Ramblers“ begeisterten mit Stücken aus dem
traditionellen New Orleans Stil der 20er und 30er Jahre, aber auch aus der
Swing-Ära der 40er. Ein Glenn Miller Potpourri erntete ebenso tosenden
Beifall wie eine Interpretation der legendären „ICECREAM“. Besetzung:

The Jazz pre lunch time at the Braukeller in Obertrum
during advent was a great success. You could hear Swing and Dixieland hits
from stars like Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald or Duke Ellington. New
Orleans meets Bavaria was the slogan of the Traunsteiner Band
“Oiweiumhoiweeife” (always at half past ten). It was a mixture of the
love for Jazz-Hits out of the first half of our century and the love for
playing, which makes space for spontaneous inputs or a walk to complete
different styles of music and you were able to listen to the roots of the

Orleans Style of the twenties and thirties but also from the Swing-Ära of
the forties. A Glenn Miller Potpourri and a interpretation of the
legendary “Ice-cream” were honored with standing ovations. |
