Am 3. Dezember 99 wurde im Gemeindezentrum eine Buchausstellung eröffnet. Die gesamte Bevölkerung von Bürmoos war aufgerufen für diese Ausstellung besondere Bücher als Leihgabe zur Verfügung zu stellen. In vier Vitrinen werden die ältesten, kleinsten und dicksten Bücher gezeigt. Alte Handschriften und Bücher mit besonders schönen Einbänden oder Ausstattungen ergänzen die Ausstellung. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit ist den Werken des Bürmooser Schriftstellers „Georg Rendl“, Bücher über Bürmoos und Bücher von Bürmooser Autoren , gewidmet. GV Wolfgang Bauer begrüßte Friedrich
Lepperdinger (rechts im Bild) den Verfasser der Bürmooser
Gemeindesoziologie. Diese sozialwissenschaftliche Studie befaßt sich mit
Bürmoos als Glasbläserdorf, mit der Integration neuer Bevölkerungsgruppen
und deren Entwicklung. Die Autoren Günther Witzany (im Bild), Barbara
Sollereder, Silvia Arzt, Alois Fuchs, Franz Müller und Georg Rohrecker
sind mit ihren Schriften in der ersten Vitrine vertreten und geben einen
kleinen Einblick in ihr Schaffen. Eine Kindergruppe der Musikschule
umrahmte die Eröffnung mit bravourös vorgetragenen Stücken. Die kleinen
Künstler bewiesen mit ihrem Können, wie wichtig die musische Förderung
der Talente unserer Kinder ist. Eine Lesung mit Fachlehrer D.
Rauchenzauner aus dem Roman von Georg Rendl „Die Glasbläser von Bürmoos“
war der Höhepunkt des Abends. (Bild 10) Hier sehen wir eine besonders
wertvolle Ausgabe mit Bilder aus der
aus der österreichischen Geschichte : „AN EHREN UND AN SIEGEN
REICH - Franz Joseph I“ (Bild 8) Besonders alte Buchdrucke gibt
es in dieser Vitrine zu sehen. Die Ausgabe von Theophylact’s Evangelien
Kommentierung (lat.) ist mit „Paris 1543“ datiert und ist somit eines
der ältesten Bücher dieser Ausstellung. Ein Papyrusfragment, datiert um 125 n.
Chr. ist der älteste neutestamentliche Papyrus, der dicht an die
wahrscheinliche Entstehungszeit des Johannesevangeliums um 90 – 95 n.
Chr. heranrückt. Reproduziert wurde hier das recto mit Joh. 18,31 –
33. Die Vitrine mit den alten Handschriften zeigt einen Querschnitt
– von der Urkunde über Firmenchronik bis hin zum Kochbuch. Diese
handschriftlichen Aufzeichnungen sind für viele Besucher nicht leicht zu
entziffern. Um so interessanter sind diese Texte, geben sie doch einen
kleinen Einblick in die Lebensweise unserer Vorfahren. Im Bild ein Seite
aus Urgroßmutters Kochbuch mit dem Rezept Nummer 1962 geschrieben am
21.3.1860. Titel: „Recept für Rheumatische und
Kreuzschmerzen“ - Man nehme
2 Häupel Knoblauch schälle sie und stoße sie in einem Mörser – dazu
2 Löfl ungesalzene Schweinefette, diese zusamen läßt man es auf dem
Feuer rösten bis es vermengt hat ................ Die Ausstellung ist noch bis Ende Jänner

Book Exhibition in Bürmoos On
December 3rd, 1999 a book exhibition was opened in Bürmoos.
All the inhabitants of Bürmoos were asked to borrow their special books
for this exhibition. In four showcases the oldest, the smallest and the
thickest books are showed. Old handwritings and books with outstanding
bindings and covers are showed. The center of this exhibition are the
books of the
author from Bürmoos „Georg Rendl“, books about Bürmoos and books
from authors from Bürmoos. W.
Bauer welcomes Friedrich Lepperdinger (right side of picture) who is the
author of the sociology of the local authority. This study tells about Bürmoos
as a village of
glass blowers and the integration of new population groups and
their development. The
authors Günther Witzany (picture), Barbara Sollereder, Silvia Arzt,
Miacheal Ernst, Alois Fuchs, Franz Müller and Georg Rohrecker with their
works can be seen in the first showcase. A
group of children coming from music school framed the opening with
excellent presented works. The
small artist proof how important it is to support the musical talents of
our children. Here
you can see a very special and valuable edition with pictures of Austrians
history: „Rich
on honors and victories – Franz Josef I. „ Here
you can see old book printings. The edition of Theophylact’s Gospel
commentation (lat.) is dated with Paris 1543 and is one of the oldest
books of this exhibition. A
fragment of papyrus dated about 125 after Christ is the oldest new
testament Papyrus which comes quite close to the being written Johannes
Gospel about 90 to 95 after Christ. Here is the reproduction of the recto

company chronic up to a cookery book. Those handwritings are very
